What you will do

• Build shared services, APIs, and workflows supporting administrative and core platform capabilities.
• Design reliable backend systems for cross-domain business flows and operationally critical use cases.
• Apply AI effectively throughout the software lifecycle, including planning, coding, review, and testing.
• Contribute reusable engineering patterns and guidance to improve team AI adoption.
• Partner with product and design peers to turn ambiguous problems into high-quality deliveries.
• Own system quality through testing, observability, and safe rollout practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience in production environments.
• Must be based in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
• Strong fluency with AI-assisted software delivery and AI-native workflows.
• Experience in Go or deep proficiency in a comparable backend language like Java.
• Experience building and operating transactional databases such as Postgres, RDS, or Aurora.
• Strong understanding of API design, service boundaries, and event-driven architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or transaction-heavy systems.
• Experience building shared platform capabilities used by multiple teams.
• Experience with admin systems or enterprise workflow products.
