Salary: 43,500 – 49,000 PLN gross per month.

What you will do

• Build and lead a new Platform Reliability team, focusing on hiring, development, and setting high standards for technical excellence.
• Partner with technical leaders to define the roadmap for core reliability systems including load shedding, rate limiting, and circuit breakers.
• Establish best-in-class operating practices for incident response, postmortems, and proactive risk management using SLOs.
• Embed reliability into architecture, planning, and delivery across platform and infrastructure teams.
• Lead end-to-end projects from scoping and design through rollout, balancing speed, safety, and maintainability.
• Foster a culture of strong engineering execution through coaching, feedback, and technical mentorship.

Requirements

• Must be based in Warsaw, Poland and able to work in an office-centric hybrid model.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience, ideally in backend, infrastructure, or reliability-focused teams.
• Strong software engineering background with the ability to contribute to technical discussions and design tradeoffs.
• Experience building and operating production systems at scale with a deep understanding of resilience and failure modes.
• Familiarity with cloud-native systems (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making.
