Lead Engineer - AI

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work combining working from home with on-site presence at client and hirify.global offices. Travel to client offices or other locations may be required.

What you will do

• Define AI strategies and roadmaps with technical stakeholders, aligning them with business objectives.
• Design and implement end-to-end AI pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment.
• Develop complex machine learning solutions using deep learning, reinforcement learning, and other AI techniques.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior AI Ops Engineers, providing technical guidance and career development.
• Deploy, version, monitor, and scale AI models in production, including data-drift detection and data-quality monitoring.
• Integrate AI pipelines into CI/CD workflows and ensure security, compliance, and effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in AI Ops, machine learning, and DevOps; 5+ years is preferred.
• Proven experience leading small teams of AI Ops or engineering professionals.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Fluent English and the ability to obtain work authorization for the intended country of employment are required.
