TL;DR

Account Executive (SaaS): Closing new business within the State & Local Government and Higher Education (SLED) segment with an accent on managing sales cycles and negotiating deal terms. Focus on conducting product demos, maintaining accurate sales forecasts, and driving revenue growth for a unified IT operations platform.

Location: Must be based in Austin, Texas. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office attendance on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

What you will do

  • Qualify prospective accounts to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Manage full sales cycles from initial engagement to closing revenue.
  • Conduct professional product demos and presentations for SLED prospects.
  • Negotiate opportunity terms, discounts, and implementation details.
  • Provide accurate and regular sales forecasting to leadership.
  • Align sales processes with SLED budget cycles and organizational requirements.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of professional sales experience, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Must be based in Austin, Texas and able to work in a hybrid capacity.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US as this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • 1+ years of experience selling into the SLED sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple deals simultaneously.

Nice to have

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
