What you will do

• Design complex components and assemblies focusing on Quality, Cost, and DFM.
• Create 3D models, detailed mechanical drawings, BOMs, and electro-mechanical parts.
• Fabricate physical prototypes for proof of concept and conduct functional testing.
• Perform mechanical and structural analysis using FEA in SolidWorks.
• Evaluate new components, materials, and manufacturing methods for product improvement.
• Conduct design reviews, FMEA, PFMEA, and supporting root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
• 5-7+ years of experience as a Design Engineer.
• Extensive experience developing 3D CAD designs using Creo, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
• Strong grasp of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
• Ability to operate machine tools to touch up and finish prototype parts.
• Experience with DFM processes including injection molding, machining, sheet metal, and casting.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with electro-mechanical and optical integration.
• Familiarity with JIRA and AI tools.
