Divergent is a technology company that has commercialized the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS), an end-to-end factory system using machine learning to engineer and manufacture complex vehicle structures for the automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors.

What you will do

• Implement messaging frameworks across press, digital, event, and internal channels.
• Draft press releases, media pitches, and briefing materials while managing press inquiries.
• Create and manage a pipeline of content including blog posts, case studies, white papers, and executive presentations.
• Support internal communication initiatives to reinforce transparency and company culture.
• Assist in the preparation of executive talking points, speeches, and thought leadership content.
• Track communications metrics and KPIs to provide insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Journalism.
• 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or content development.
• Strong writing and editing skills with experience producing press releases and long-form content.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible messaging.
• Must be able to work onsite in Torrance, CA.
