Communications Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support U.S. media relations, story development, pitch coordination, and earned media opportunities with the Director, Content & PR and the PR agency.
• Build relationships with business, technology, fintech, and cybersecurity media and prepare spokespeople with messaging, briefing materials, and Q&A documents.
• Maintain the U.S. PR calendar and coordinate agency briefings, plans, deliverables, timelines, and performance tracking.
• Develop executive thought leadership content, including bylines, media commentary, podcasts, speaking opportunities, and messaging on AI, fraud, digital identity, and trust.
• Create PR, client, consultant, and employee communications content, including town hall messaging and internal presentations.
• Track U.S. PR performance and support reputation management, issues response, and incident-related communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of PR or communications experience, including U.S. media relations in B2B, fintech, SaaS, or agency environments.
• Proven success securing coverage in business, technology, fintech, cybersecurity, or related media.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, news judgment, and AP style skills.
• Experience briefing PR agencies and preparing executives, spokespeople, or subject matter experts for media engagements.
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently in a lean, fast-paced environment.

• Experience in fintech, digital banking, financial services, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology.

• Experience connecting external PR with internal communications, executive visibility, and broader brand campaigns.
• Experience translating complex technology, AI, fraud, digital identity, and trust topics into clear stories.
