What you will do
- Oversee daily operations of mental health and addiction programs to ensure high-quality, efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and support front-line and relief staff, including scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
- Monitor client flow, service delivery, and care coordination across HART Hub, Shelter, Housing, and Crisis programs.
- Manage program budgets, expenditures, and reporting in collaboration with Corporate Services.
- Build relationships with community and health partners to improve service coordination and identify emerging needs.
- Ensure compliance with CMHA policies, legislation, and occupational health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related health/human services field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mental health and addictions, including crisis or stabilization settings.
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in a unionized, community-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and recovery-based care models, plus system navigation and crisis response.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Mandatory First Aid/CPR certification; Police Vulnerable Sector Check required upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
Nice to have
- Certification or willingness to obtain ASIST and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 3 months.
- Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset.
