Location: Edinburgh, United Kingdom; hybrid working requires at least two days per week or 40% of the time at the Edinburgh office site.

What you will do

• Define and own solution architecture across the API Lab portfolio.
• Develop strategic architecture roadmaps aligned with business priorities and enterprise technology strategy.
• Drive architectural consistency across multiple products, teams, and engineering domains.
• Influence platform-wide decisions affecting thousands of developers and shape long-term investment priorities.
• Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to align strategy, architecture, and delivery.
• Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, supportable, compliant, and aligned with modern cloud-native engineering practices.

Requirements

• Significant Solution Architecture experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven experience delivering complex platform and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience defining architecture strategy across multiple products and technology domains.
• Deep expertise in enterprise API ecosystems, including operating models, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Experience influencing senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of architecture and design practices such as TOGAF and Domain-Driven Design, plus practical experience with GCP, Harness, Apigee, KONG, Developer Portal, security, and SRE.
