What you will do

• Translate architectural blueprints and roadmaps into detailed solution designs.
• Design scalable, secure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and Group Technology standards.
• Support integration with existing systems and processes while minimizing disruption and technical debt.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, business analysts, technical leads, Group Technology, and vendors.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to delivery teams.
• Document designs and support risk identification, mitigation, governance, and compliance.

Requirements

• Proven solution architecture experience in insurance or financial services.
• Strong understanding of application design, integration patterns, and cloud technologies.
• Ability to balance technical innovation with practical delivery constraints.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative, pragmatic problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with London Market processes and Lloyd’s market systems.
• Experience with API-driven architectures and microservices.
• Knowledge of security and regulatory requirements in financial services.
