What you will do

• Design and evolve secure, scalable distributed systems, APIs, integration patterns, and architecture.
• Contribute to ledger, smart contract, tokenisation, digital asset, and central bank digital currency integration models.
• Design atomic settlement and DvP/RvP mechanisms while evaluating on-chain and off-chain components.
• Translate regulatory and market-structure requirements into technical designs for post-trade infrastructure.
• Write production-quality code in Java, JavaScript, Solidity, and SQL; review code and improve engineering practices.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, testing strategy, observability, documentation, and communication with engineering, product, clients, and regulators.

Requirements

• Track record of designing and building software products with a solid grounding in distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with distributed ledgers or blockchain platforms, plus familiarity with tokenisation and digital assets.
• Strong API design skills, including REST and event-driven architecture.
• Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Solidity, and SQL.
• Understanding of post-trade processes, securities depositories, DvP/RvP models, atomic settlement, and financial infrastructure regulation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, structured thinking, resilience, and an ownership mindset.
