Senior Architect, Europe (AI)

Location: London, UK; hybrid work with three days per week in the office and two days at home

What you will do

• Contribute to or lead solution architecture, technology roadmaps, and architectural recommendations.
• Facilitate blueprint and design reviews and execute governance processes for applications and projects.
• Implement stability and performance strategies through application design, debugging, and performance analysis.
• Shape technology and API strategies using services-based architecture, APIs, automation, and event-driven architectures.
• Guide development teams and collaborate with architects, development groups, OAI-Sys employees, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Own deliverables for enterprise initiatives, product evaluations, proofs of concept, application utilities, and technology frameworks.

Requirements

• Experience and knowledge in multiple technologies and architectures.
• Knowledge of enterprise, application, and information architecture, technology direction, SDLC, and product or project management.
• Experience with Java, .NET, SQL, SOA, J2EE, web application development, SOAP, XML, REST, and application frameworks.
• Experience with middleware, relational database design, application integration, business intelligence, data warehousing, ETL, transaction design, and performance engineering.
• Ability to analyze novel technical problems, develop solutions from abstract information, prioritize independently, and influence stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
• Insurance industry experience and experience providing architecture guidance to development teams are expected.
