What you will do

• Contribute to the full development lifecycle: coding, testing, and deployment.
• Improve ease of use, observability, and reliability of the AI platform.
• Maintain services handling millions of requests and LLM calls per day.
• Collaborate with applied scientists, data engineers, and developers to integrate agentic applications into production.
• Help evolve the AI platform to support large-scale agentic workflows.
• Suggest improvements to development processes and use AI coding tools to support the workflow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience in a cloud environment (Python or Java/Spring preferred; AWS is an asset).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable application design.
• Ability to solve problems and debug systems with guidance when needed.
• Comfort learning new tools, technologies, and best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, AWS Bedrock, OpenSearch serverless, vector databases, or LLM inference gateways (e.g., LiteLLM).
• Exposure to machine learning workflows or agentic workflows.
• Interest in scalable backend services, realtime systems, agentic workflows, and realtime inference at scale.
