Product Manager (Retail)

Location: Remote (US). Willingness to travel regularly to a strategic partner campus is required.

What you will do

• Translate stakeholder and partner requirements into clear product specifications for development teams.
• Manage product projects through the full release cycle, from planning and requirements definition to pilot support.
• Act as the primary day-to-day product liaison for a strategic retail partner.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to point-of-sale (POS), inventory, and order management workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, professional services, support, and marketing teams.
• Support new application development by creating content and clarifying requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in product management, business analysis, requirements analysis, or project planning.
• Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and translate business problems into actionable requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills to build credibility with partners.
• Willingness to travel regularly to a strategic partner campus on a regular cadence.

Nice to have

• Industry experience in home centers, hardware, building materials, or hard goods retail.
• Knowledge of ERP, POS, supply chain, or order management systems.
• Experience supporting national accounts, franchise networks, or multi-location retail environments.
• Location in the greater Illinois area or ability to travel there 2-3 times a month.
