Product Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid in the United States, with onsite work two days per week at an office in Westham, MA, Cary, NC, or Westfield, IN. Candidates must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually.

What you will do

• Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, business cases, pricing input, and success metrics for Layered Apps.
• Own use cases for service planning, technician scheduling and dispatch, mobile work orders, dealer operations, warehouse workflows, and adjacent DMS applications.
• Develop and launch AI-powered experiences such as guided diagnostics, repair assistance, smart scheduling, summaries, and automated communications.
• Work with dealers and operational users to research workflows, define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage integrations and dependencies with core platforms, OEM systems, and third-party applications.
• Partner with engineering, UX, QA, sales, marketing, implementation, and support to deliver products and track adoption, retention, utilization, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI-powered products or features from concept through production.
• Knowledge of AI product development, including data requirements, model evaluation, prompt and workflow design, and responsible AI.
• Experience with ERP, DMS, SaaS, enterprise software, field service, dispatch, scheduling, mobile workforce, or operational workflow products.
• Technical comfort with integrations, APIs, and platform dependencies, along with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work onsite two days per week at a designated United States office, or willingness to relocate to the area.

Nice to have

• Experience in heavy equipment, agriculture, construction, transportation, dealer, or distribution industries.
• Familiarity with DMS, service operations, warehouse management, or parts logistics.
• Experience launching products from zero, managing multiple products, or using Jira, Confluence, Aha!, Productboard, and product analytics platforms.
