What you will do

• Oversee daily production floor operations, ensuring manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
• Manage and develop a team of seven employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure full compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, and GMP food safety standards.
• Utilize SAP ERP and automated dosing technology to maintain traceability and production accuracy.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing improvements.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and quality assurance departments to optimize plant capacity.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or production management.
• 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role managing 10+ staff.
• Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and Canadian regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in production management software such as SAP and PLC systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Food Science, or Chemistry.
• Must be based in or able to work in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing certification.
• CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management).
• Experience in chemical or premix ingredient manufacturing.
