What you will do

• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 6–10 Manufacturing Training Specialists.
• Manage end-to-end training scheduling, facility resources, and logistics to minimize production disruption.
• Facilitate instructor-led and hands-on training sessions for complex assembly and fabrication tasks.
• Partner with production and engineering leadership to conduct training needs analyses and identify skill gaps.
• Oversee LMS administration, including enrollment, transcript management, and audit-ready record keeping.
• Champion safety, quality, and EHS compliance through standardized work practices and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience in training and facilitation within a production setting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook for scheduling.
• Must be based in Surrey, BC or able to work on-site daily.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of supervisory or team coordination experience.
• Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and root cause analysis.
• Background in instructional design using ADDIE frameworks.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
