What you will do

• Commission AV systems at client sites, optimize equipment settings, and document changes via redlines.
• Troubleshoot technical issues by tracing signal flow and coordinating with relevant project teams.
• Configure AV networks and coordinate integration with client network infrastructure.
• Create and modify DSP files, focusing on AEC optimization for videoconferencing and control object coordination.
• Provide lessons-learned feedback to install, design, and pre-sales teams to improve system designs.
• Archive configuration and programming files to ensure service team efficiency.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in AV field installation or systems design.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex AV and network systems, specifically MTR and Zoom Rooms.
• DSP certification from Biamp, QSC, or BSS.
• Control certification from QSC, Extron, or Crestron.
• High School Diploma or GED (Associates degree preferred).
• Must be based in Mississauga and Toronto, Canada; frequent travel required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of broadcast or hybrid conference-live event systems.
• Ability to commission and troubleshoot using virtual connections.
• Certifications: Audinate Dante Level 3, Biamp Tesira Server, Q-Sys Level 2, Extron CCP, Shure Integrated Systems Level 1, or AVIXA CTS.
