What you will do

• Own core SEO performance including technical health, crawlability, and keyword strategy.
• Define and execute the AEO strategy across AI platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude.
• Partner with web development to optimize site structure, schema markup, and page architecture for AI citation.
• Monitor and report on AI visibility and share of voice versus traditional search results.
• Collaborate with content and product marketing to shape content that performs for both humans and AI engines.
• Support PR outreach by identifying high-impact platforms for AEO-focused placements.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York City and able to work on-site.
• Proven hands-on experience in technical, on-page, and content SEO.
• Strong curiosity and understanding of how LLMs and AI answer engines retrieve and cite content.
• Data-driven mindset with experience building reporting and content roadmaps.
• Strong written communication skills for creating structured, citation-worthy content.
• Builder mindset comfortable defining strategies in a new, evolving discipline.
