CAE Customer Service Engineer (Virtual Manufacturing & Costing)

hirify.global provides Virtual Manufacturing & Costing simulation software, including the Simufact and FTI product lines.

What you will do

• Provide technical support, sales support, and training for Simufact and FTI software.
• Resolve customer and international sales partner issues through web portals, email, and telephone.
• Create application examples, tutorials, training materials, and product documentation.
• Prepare and conduct mainly customer-specific training courses.
• Independently conduct service projects and document product issues thoroughly.
• Collaborate with product development, sales, and support teams to improve product quality, modeling, numerical methods, and implementation.

Requirements

• Up to 5 years of experience or equivalent theoretical and practical knowledge in CAE and manufacturing technologies.
• Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes, especially forming, welding, or additive manufacturing, including their physical and material-science fundamentals.
• Experience with nonlinear finite elements and manufacturing simulation is preferred.
• Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, production engineering, forming technology, welding technology, additive manufacturing, CAE, finite element methods, or related numerical methods.
• Business-fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, complete tasks including occasional off-hours work, and travel as required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Working knowledge of FTI or Simufact.
• Knowledge of Windows or Linux systems.
• Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, C++, Fortran, or another programming language.
