Cybersecurity Consultant (AI)

Location: Brussels, Belgium; work may be performed from home, at client sites, or from the Brussels office. Temporary assignments abroad may include France and the Netherlands. Work permit sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Deliver cybersecurity consulting, implementation, and audit engagements across strategy, risk, compliance, operations, and resilience.
• Support projects involving cloud security, security architecture, infrastructure and endpoint protection, data protection, cryptography, and secure development.
• Work on threat hunting, digital forensics, incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and business continuity.
• Develop new cybersecurity SaaS offers and solutions through the hirify.global CyberLab, with a focus on advanced technologies and AI.
• Conduct cybersecurity solution benchmarks and proofs of concept and monitor cybersecurity developments.
• Contribute to articles, white papers, studies, webinars, professional events, and cybersecurity industry communities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a consulting firm and cybersecurity projects.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics and the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, operating systems, cloud platforms, applications, and cryptography.
• French, Dutch, and English language skills required; work permit sponsorship is not available.
