Data Center Lead (Infrastructure)

Data Center Lead (Infrastructure): Leading the installation, maintenance, and optimization of global datacenter hardware with an accent on technical leadership, server deployment, and infrastructure reliability. Focus on managing team KPIs, solving complex hardware escalations, and ensuring high availability for gaming infrastructure.

Location: Hybrid (Rotterdam). Must live within 50km of the Rotterdam Datacenter for on-call shifts.

What you will do

• Lead installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of servers and network gear.
• Manage and mentor team members, conducting 1-on-1s, setting KPIs, and defining career paths.
• Oversee server deployment using PXE boot, RAID configurations, and BMC ports.
• Ensure datacenter standards regarding rack design, cooling, airflow, and power distribution.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for new site setups and maintenance.
• Maintain technical documentation and the internal knowledge base.

Requirements

• Strong experience with datacenter hardware, RAID setups, and server imaging.
• Solid understanding of networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SFP modules.
• Practical hands-on experience with racks, cabling, and infrastructure operations.
• Fluent English proficiency is required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45kg.
• Must be based within 50km of Rotterdam.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Linux, virtualization, Docker, or NAS setups.
• Dutch language skills.
