Senior Network Engineer

What you will do

• Manage and operate global network services including SDWAN, MAN, LAN, and SASE security features.
• Handle network-related tickets, incidents, and service requests.
• Maintain and develop network standards, building blocks, and deployment automation.
• Represent the network function in local and international IT projects, including supplier negotiations.
• Ensure 24/7 business network continuity and implement corporate security policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external airport network service providers.

Requirements

• Higher Technical Education (Bachelor degree or equivalent).
• Active Cisco CCNP or similar certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in routing, switching, and Cisco ASA firewalls.
• Strong English communication skills (Dutch is a plus).
• Ability to work occasionally during weekends/evenings.
• Analytical troubleshooting skills for complex network environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in airport, train, or shopping mall environments.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO27001/2, or NIST-CSF frameworks.
• Experience with WAN optimization, SDWAN, and SASE techniques.
• Background in managing outsourcing partners and supplier negotiations.
