What you will do
- Act as the nominated MLRO for Great Britain and Ireland, fulfilling statutory responsibilities and overseeing SAR obligations with the NCA and CAB.
- Own and maintain the AML framework, Business Risk Assessments, and policies in compliance with UK and Irish legislation.
- Lead and develop a high-performing AML team focused on regulatory excellence and effective financial crime prevention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators and law enforcement agencies during audits, investigations, and licence applications.
- Partner with CDD, Safer Gambling, Fraud, Payments, and Legal teams to ensure a unified, risk-based approach to financial crime.
- Leverage data analytics and Artificial Intelligence to enhance investigative quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Significant experience in AML, Financial Crime Compliance, or Risk Management within online gambling, betting, or financial services.
- Previous experience as a nominated MLRO or Senior AML leader within a licensed operator or regulated financial organisation is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of UK and Irish AML legislation, including the Proceeds of Crime Act and Gambling Commission requirements.
- Proven expertise in managing SARs, CDD, EDD, and KYC frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience developing Business Risk Assessments and AML governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to influence senior leadership on complex regulatory matters.
