What you will do

• Provide senior oversight and challenge for financial crime investigations performed by operations teams.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex RFIs from law enforcement, regulators, and tax authorities.
• Support the MLRO/DMLRO in operating the end-to-end UAR/SAR regime across all brands and licences.
• Ensure investigative narratives and evidential assessments meet strict regulatory and FIU standards.
• Identify emerging fraud typologies, thematic issues, or systemic control weaknesses.
• Contribute to the development of investigation-related policies, procedures, and playbooks.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in financial crime investigations within gaming, payments, fintech, or financial services.
• Strong operational knowledge of RFIs, UAR/SAR regimes, and FIU interactions.
• Ability to produce high-quality, defensible investigative narratives.
• Deep understanding of multi-jurisdictional reporting requirements.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or ACFCS.
• Must be based in North London, UK.

Nice to have

• Direct experience in iGaming or online sports betting.
• Exposure to UKGC, MGA, or Ontario iGO regulated environments.
• Experience using AI automation tools for investigations.
