What you will do
- Monitor and analyze 3GPP developments to identify emerging technology trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assess technical contributions and specifications to determine their impact on networks, products, and spectrum assets.
- Develop technical positions, briefing papers, and proposal contributions for bodies such as 3GPP, ITU-R, GSMA, and APT.
- Coordinate technical input from internal subject matter experts and external industry partners.
- Prepare executive summaries and strategic recommendations following international standards and regulatory meetings.
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with vendors, operators, and regulatory stakeholders.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in mobile telecommunications, wireless systems, or standards development.
- Hands-on participation in the 3GPP standards process, specifically within RAN, SA, or CT working groups.
- Deep understanding of LTE, 5G, 5G-Advanced, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), and emerging 6G technologies.
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business and strategic implications for executive audiences.
- Exposure to international standards bodies (ITU-R, GSMA, APT) and knowledge of spectrum management and regulatory frameworks.
