Location: Cardiff, United Kingdom
Salary: £56,547–£73,336 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional incentives may include annual bonuses, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What you will do
- Build and manage hybrid systems architectures connecting on-premises environments, legacy datacenters, and edge networks to Microsoft Azure using Azure Arc and ExpressRoute.
- Deploy, configure, license, secure, and patch virtualized Windows Server and Enterprise Linux workloads in Azure.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Domain Services, Active Directory synchronization topologies, and role-based access control.
- Automate administrative tasks with PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and Azure Bicep.
- Design, test, and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
- Monitor system performance, investigate bottlenecks, manage Log Analytics, and configure Azure Monitor alerts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience, including 3+ years architecting and supporting enterprise systems workflows in Microsoft Azure.
- Production-grade knowledge of Windows Server, Red Hat, Ubuntu, and advanced troubleshooting methods.
- Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell or Python for systems automation.
- Experience deploying Azure IaaS components, including Virtual Machines, Managed Disks, Virtual Networks, Key Vault, and Blob Storage.
- Ability to operate reliable, automated, auditable, and compliant infrastructure targeting 99.99% uptime across cloud and hybrid environments.

- Active Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
