What you will do

  • Lead the Privacy and Data Regulation team and manage the group-wide privacy management system.
  • Ensure strict compliance with GDPR, EU Data Act, and other evolving EU data regulations.
  • Act as a senior advisor on the privacy implications of AI, profiling, and automated decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Security, Product, and Data teams to embed privacy-by-design into new platforms and AI services.
  • Manage relations with data protection supervisory authorities and handle data subject inquiries.
  • Oversee privacy certifications including ISO 27701 and ISAE3000 GDPR assurance reports.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading data protection strategy for a large international technology or services player.
  • Expert knowledge of EU data protection laws and experience translating them into business operations.
  • Strong understanding of the interaction between GDPR, the EU Data Act, and emerging AI regulations.
  • Full professional proficiency in Dutch and French is required.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Proven track record of leading international teams through organizational change and transformation.

  • CIPP/E or CIPM professional certification.
