What you will do

• Lead the strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end delivery for the Design product group.
• Manage a cross-functional team consisting of engineers, product managers, and subject-matter experts.
• Define investment priorities and determine how to take the product into adjacent markets.
• Bridge the gap between technical SMEs, developers, and business objectives to ensure clarity in a complex domain.
• Develop sustainable processes and structures to improve delivery outcomes over time.
• Maintain a hands-on approach to understand the substance of the engineering tools and real-world utility problems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a product leader owning the success of a large and complex product area.
• Demonstrated ability to enter an unfamiliar technical domain and deliver successful outcomes.
• Strong people leadership experience, specifically managing product management and ideally engineering teams.
• Ability to synthesize complex information quickly and bring clarity to chaotic environments.
• High level of discipline regarding scope and prioritization under pressure.

Nice to have

• Background in software engineering.
• Exposure to utilities, energy, structural or electrical engineering, CAD, or simulation/FEA platforms.
