What you will do

• Manage delivery across multiple engineering teams, ensuring consistency, quality, and velocity.
• Lead a manager-of-managers model, coaching Engineering Managers and building a talent pipeline.
• Own domain-level SDLC governance, defining OKRs, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Collaborate with Staff Engineers to define architecture and technical standards for the domain.
• Develop and implement the domain's AI adoption strategy and represent the domain in the AI Steering Committee.
• Communicate technical strategy and business impact to C-level stakeholders and the board.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Software Development and Engineering Leadership.
• Proven experience managing other Engineering Managers (manager-of-managers model).
• Hands-on technical background in Java and Spring Boot is required.
• Advanced proficiency in both Polish and English (written and spoken).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred) and enterprise architecture (microservices, event-driven).
• Proficiency in Agile, SAFe, or equivalent scaled delivery frameworks.

• Background in e-commerce or logistics.

• Experience with P&L ownership and budget management.
