Inventory Control Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Count materials and supplies in stock and resolve discrepancies with buyers.
• Coordinate and monitor distribution center inventory on a daily basis.
• Reconcile inventory balances and perform cycle counts for finished goods and engines.
• Investigate discrepancy rationales and identify ways to eliminate inventory problems.
• Perform internal audits and communicate directly with external auditors.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by leveraging the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Requirements

• Associate Degree (AA) or 6-12 months of related experience/training.
• Understanding of functional areas and transactions affecting inventory balances.
• Strong mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills.
• Ability to walk or sit for 8-10 hours and lift at least 25 lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
