AI Lead Software Engineer

What you will do

• Design and implement AI-driven data solutions across Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or equivalent cloud data platforms.
• Prototype and productionize LLM-based systems for dynamic SQL generation, intelligent data access, document search, and semantic retrieval.
• Build and maintain vector search capabilities using OpenSearch or similar technologies.
• Develop metadata and data catalog layers that support LLM reasoning and data discoverability.
• Build reliable, performant, and well-governed data pipelines for AI workloads.
• Advise engineering leadership on technology selection and strategic direction while mentoring engineers and collaborating with global teams.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in software engineering or data engineering, including recent hands-on work with AI systems.
• Expertise with large-scale cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-driven workflows for dynamic SQL generation or intelligent data access.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java for AI pipeline development.
• Experience with vector search, OpenSearch or similar technologies, and document or semantic retrieval.
• Familiarity with data cataloging or metadata systems such as custom YAML schemas, Atlan, or DataHub, plus strong production troubleshooting and debugging skills.
