Location: Onsite in Dillingham, AK, United States (Remote Not Eligible)

What you will do

• Provide continuous onsite security for property, buildings, and equipment throughout the winter.
• Monitor the site for unauthorized access, damage, and safety concerns, reporting urgent issues to management.
• Procure, process, and store firewood in accordance with special use permits to support summer operations.
• Perform basic building, facility, and equipment maintenance projects.
• Maintain heating systems and monitor temperatures to keep storage buildings above freezing.
• Execute snow removal to ensure safe access to buildings, walkways, and emergency routes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one season of experience in a similar remote work environment.
• Ability to withstand months of isolation and solitude, living and working independently.
• Ability to safely operate an ATV and a chainsaw (including identifying standing dead trees).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) for reporting and communication.
• Capacity to work in extreme Alaskan weather conditions, including temperatures down to -30 degrees.

Nice to have

• Experience operating an 18-foot skiff with an outboard motor in remote environments.
• Experience operating snowmobiles, including basic maintenance and emergency procedures.
