Engineer I (Mechanical Engineer) (Thermal)

What you will do

• Create and modify mechanical parts, assemblies, and drawings using Creo and Solid Edge.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and unit configurator logic based on customer options.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Manufacturing, Service, and Quality teams to align design with requirements.
• Provide technical support for prototype builds and implement improvements based on field trials.
• Coordinate lab testing, analyze data, and diagnose issues to improve product performance.
• Perform thermal system modeling and determine optimal controls routines to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with mechanical CAD tools such as Solid Edge, Creo, or Solid Works.
• Basic working knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts and safety.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to operate in cross-functional global development teams.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with sheetmetal, piping, and complex assemblies.
• Familiarity with data-entry systems such as Oracle or Agile.
