Associate Field Engineer

What you will do

• Perform safety and non-safety certification inspections and quality system audits.
• Analyze and evaluate examination and test results against UL performance standards.
• Verify the accuracy of manufacturers’ measuring equipment and review production records.
• Facilitate corrective actions when variations from requirements are identified.
• Communicate with manufacturers and Authorities Having Jurisdiction to resolve compliance issues.
• Document inspection results and maintain logs for scheduling, time, and expenses.

Requirements

• Must be located or willing to relocate to the Tampa, Florida area.
• University Degree or equivalent technical certification in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to read schematic diagrams.
• Ability to work at heights and perform local/regional travel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with client-interfacing experience.
• Proficiency in computer skills and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with UL Standards, 508A, or Industrial Control Panels.
• ASQ certification.
• Lightning Protection experience.
• Prior experience in Field Engineering, Compliance, or Quality Engineering.
