What you will do

• Set the technical direction for the biller-workflow platform and drive adoption across the RCM engineering organization.
• Establish engineering standards for design systems, API contracts, testing, and observability to ensure consistency across multi-team frontends.
• Lead the development of complex cross-cutting features, including high-scale virtualized tables and idempotent bulk operations.
• Integrate AI and LLMs into production workflows to solve high-friction tasks like claim comparison and error reasoning.
• Raise the technical bar through architecture reviews, deep code reviews, and mentorship of engineers across the organization.
• Own production reliability and performance, focusing on render optimization and query performance for large datasets.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building large-scale full-stack applications.
• Proven experience in org-wide frontend leadership, such as orchestrating design system adoption.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Track record of leading multi-month, multi-team platform rebuilds and shipping them incrementally.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex React rendering bottlenecks in data-dense UIs.
• Must be based in or able to work from Mountain View, Los Angeles, New York City, or San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience with analytical/OLAP stores like StarRocks, ClickHouse, or Druid.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing data and EDI X12 standards.
• Experience shipping production-grade LLM-powered features.
• Background in highly regulated industries such as finance, insurance, or healthcare.
