Senior/Staff Program Manager (Operations Cost Analytics)

Location: Hybrid in Foster City, CA

Company

Zoox is developing an autonomous ride-hail service aimed at commercialization and scaling fleet operations.

What you will do

• Analyze fleet operations to identify, size, and prioritize cost drivers using data as the primary basis.
• Define the strategy and roadmap for the operations cost control program and translate it into trackable improvement plans.
• Lead cross-functional efforts with Engineering, Data Science, Finance, and Product to resolve identified cost inefficiencies.
• Build or specify dashboards and visibility tools that enable partner teams to self-serve cost-impacting data.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics to track cost performance and program progress.
• Communicate program status and the measurable impact of improvements to leadership.

Requirements

• BS degree in engineering, analytics, or a quantitative discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, analytics, operations, finance, or management consulting.
• Strong quantitative skills and comfort working directly with operational and cost data to find root causes.
• Experience specifying or building data visibility tools/dashboards.
• Proven ability to run structured, cross-functional programs from identification to measurable results.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Foster City, CA.

Nice to have

• MBA or Master’s degree in Operations Research, Analytics, Engineering, or Finance.
• Management consulting experience focused on operational efficiency.
• Experience in autonomous vehicles, ride-hail, transportation, or aerospace industries.
• Proficiency with SQL and BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Lean Six Sigma green or black belt certification.
