What you will do
- Design and ship AI-powered product features from architecture through production.
- Build systems that combine LLMs, agents, and deterministic software.
- Implement RAG pipelines, structured reasoning flows, tool-using agents, vector databases, and embedding pipelines.
- Improve system reliability, latency, cost efficiency, accuracy, safety, and user experience.
- Use AI agents to accelerate development, testing, prototyping, and architecture decisions.
- Shape AI-native engineering standards, mentor engineers, and contribute to long-term technical direction.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience designing and shipping large-scale production systems and owning architecture across services or product domains.
- Strong backend fundamentals, including APIs, distributed systems, data modeling, concurrency, reliability, monitoring, incident handling, and performance tuning.
- Experience with cloud-native systems on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Production experience shipping LLM-powered features, RAG systems, AI agents, and tool-using multi-step reasoning systems.
- Experience designing LLM evaluation frameworks and optimizing AI systems for latency, cost efficiency, reliability, quality, safety, and regression detection.
