TL;DR
AI Engineer (AI Platform/Python): Building a company-wide AI platform with an accent on agent runtimes, tool and data layers, model gateways, and evaluation infrastructure. Focus on designing secure agent architectures, integrating enterprise data and services, and improving LLM quality, observability, cost, and latency in production.
Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

What you will do
- Design and build the core agent platform, including runtime, orchestration, state and memory management, and a shared agent SDK.
- Build and operate tool and connector layers, including MCP servers for data, internal systems, and third-party services.
- Develop LLM-based agents and convert reusable components into platform capabilities.
- Implement integrations that enable agents to take automated actions on behalf of users.
- Establish secure-by-default patterns for permissions, data access, PII handling, prompt-injection defense, and audit logging.
- Evaluate and improve AI model and agent quality, performance, cost, and latency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar AI-agent frameworks.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-agent architectures.
- Production engineering experience with REST APIs, asynchronous services, external data integrations, containers, and CI/CD.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with LLM evaluation, observability tooling, LLMOps, semantic caching, model routing, and capacity planning.
- Experience designing RAG systems over large or heterogeneous data sources.
- Knowledge of AI security and safety, cloud environments such as AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with LLM providers, vector stores, and MCPs.
