What you will do

• Serve as the primary quality contact for customers regarding product performance, complaints, and field issues.
• Lead investigations of customer complaints and field failures using structured methodologies such as 8D, RCA, and FMEA.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to identify root causes and verify corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and customer-specific requirements.
• Analyze field data and failure trends to provide feedback for product reliability and design improvements.
• Track and report customer quality KPIs and prepare technical documentation.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or process engineering.
• Strong proficiency with root cause analysis tools (8D, 5-Why) and PFMEA/DFMEA.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Fairport, NY.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lean tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of electronic measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with high-reliability products and failure analysis techniques.
