What you will do

• Monitor referral platforms including Epic, Kaiser, and CarePort, responding to requests within strict service level agreements.
• Process new patient intakes and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) using the MyUnity system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and process authorizations to facilitate timely patient admissions.
• Audit medical records for documentation requirements and monitor quality metrics via the SHP portal.
• Generate and distribute daily operational and performance reports to leadership and assigned staff.

Requirements

• Experience in healthcare administration, medical records, referral coordination, or patient intake.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (MyUnity experience preferred).
• Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes.
• Ability to handle confidential patient information in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work full-time during MST business hours (8 AM – 5 PM).

Nice to have

• Experience with Epic, Kaiser, CarePort, DINA/Tango, CellTrak, SHP, or CORHIO.
• Previous experience specifically within home health or hospice operations.
• Experience generating operational or key performance metric reports.
