What you will do

• Act as a strategic finance partner to the Canadian Leadership Team, providing financial insights and scenario modeling to support business decisions.
• Lead the cross-functional financial planning process, coordinating budgeting across profit centers and validating financial assumptions.
• Direct financial analysis, business case development, and monthly performance reviews to identify operational efficiencies.
• Oversee month-end close activities for the P&L and balance sheet, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Manage and coach a high-performing team of 8+ finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
• Analyze pricing and promotional effectiveness to maximize ROI through strategic resource allocation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in financial analysis or controlling, preferably within consumer goods or retail.
• Proven track record of leading and developing finance teams within a matrix organization.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic resource allocation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP, Hyperion, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation and MBA are highly preferred.
• Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada.
