Salary: $207,000 – $253,000 CAD

What you will do
- Lead the planning and delivery of engineering initiatives to ensure quality standards and business goals are met.
- Establish and refine engineering processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and technical design reviews.
- Partner with senior leadership to execute the technical vision and align it with customer needs.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to solve complex problems and deliver impactful solutions.
- Grow a high-performing team through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven environment that supports professional development and mentorship.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech.
- 1-3 years of experience in a people management role.
- Strong technical foundation with a track record of shipping high-quality products.
- Pragmatic decision-making skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Must be based in Toronto, ON for a hybrid work arrangement.
Nice to have
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and AWS.
- Experience leveraging AI to solve complex problems within resource constraints.

Hiring process
- Initial 30-minute video call with the Talent team.
- 60-minute video call with two Senior Engineering Managers.
- Take-home case study followed by a 60-minute call with the Engineering team.
- Final 45-minute in-person interview with the Leadership team.
