What you will do

• Design and implement firmware for IoT devices running on microcontrollers and RTOS environments.
• Own firmware components end-to-end, covering architecture, implementation, code review, testing, and maintenance.
• Debug and resolve full-stack issues from hardware bring-up to production defects in the field.
• Define and implement software interfaces consumed by other teams and services.
• Contribute to and maintain CI pipelines, build systems, and automated test infrastructure.
• Collaborate with hardware, cloud, and mobile teams to translate requirements into reliable firmware.

Requirements

• Professional experience (non-internship) in software development or embedded development in C/C++.
• Experience with an RTOS in a production environment, including task design and synchronization primitives.
• Experience implementing low-level drivers and interrupt service routines.
• Experience with testing discipline in an embedded context (unit testing, integration testing, or CI pipelines).
• Experience owning a software component end-to-end from design through delivery.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with wireless protocols such as BLE or Wi-Fi in production.
• Experience with common bus protocols: SPI, I2C, UART.
• Experience with Embedded Linux, Yocto, or BSP development.
• Proficiency in Python for build automation or test infrastructure.
• Experience building or integrating AI or ML capabilities into embedded or IoT products.
