Embedded Software Engineer (IoT)

Location: Onsite at the Budapest office

Annual base pay: Ft9,090,200–Ft16,881,800, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and support robust, scalable embedded software infrastructure for automated verification of IoT MCU and wireless products.
• Develop drivers, tests, and algorithms for verifying hardware functionality.
• Integrate and troubleshoot test and driver code with hardware test platforms.
• Develop and troubleshoot user applications and utilities focused on IC validation.
• Support verification, systems hardware, and chip design engineers in using software tools.
• Evaluate and deploy new technologies while collaborating with engineering groups across locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Professional software development experience; candidates at different levels are considered.
• Programming experience with chip- and board-level hardware using ANSI C or C++.
• Hardware debugging skills for enabling software functionality.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming in Python, C#, or Java.
• Familiarity with build techniques, revision control, and software testing methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated hardware verification, validation, and characterization environments.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, measurements, databases, data manipulation with .NET and XML, or Power BI reporting.
• Experience with AI-powered tools and technologies for productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
