What you will do

• Partner with the Head of Investor Relations to set priorities and direction for the investor relations program.
• Own investor engagement: build relationships with senior members of the investment community and serve as primary point of contact.
• Draft and refine investor-facing messaging covering financial performance, strategy, and progress on key initiatives.
• Represent Anthropic in investor meetings and advise leadership on investor sentiment and market expectations.
• Develop and execute investor targeting and outreach based on the shareholder base and engagement strategy.
• Build scalable investor relations systems, templates, and processes; coordinate cross-functional work with legal, finance, and communications.

Requirements

• Experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, investing, or a comparable capital markets role.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex financial and strategic information into written materials for sophisticated audiences (e.g., research notes, investment memos, investor updates).
• Demonstrated judgment handling confidential and market-sensitive information.
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial and technical concepts clearly.
• Experience interacting directly with institutional investors, analysts, or executive leadership.
• Ability to build and maintain financial models and translate financial statements and operating metrics into a defensible business view.

Nice to have

• Depth in technology, software, semiconductors, or AI infrastructure (from analysis, investing, or operating inside the sector).
• Experience owning a sector/company as a lead analyst or holding comparable ownership of an investment thesis in a buy-side role.
• Experience at a high-growth technology company within investor relations.
• Familiarity with consumption-based, API-first, or enterprise software revenue models.
• Interest in AI safety and explaining research-driven work to a financial audience.
