Director of FP&A (AI)

Location: Austin, TX, US; in-office collaboration twice weekly required. Candidates must currently live in the Austin Metropolitan area; relocation will not be considered.

Annual US hiring range: $170,000–$200,000.

What you will do

• Lead financial planning architecture improvements by replacing spreadsheet-heavy processes with scalable workflows, FP&A software, and AI-native solutions.
• Build advanced financial models covering go-to-market efficiency, customer acquisition, pricing, discounts, and SaaS metrics.
• Partner with Revenue Operations, Marketing, and GTM teams to analyze LTV/CAC, CAC payback, retention, ARR cohorts, pipeline throughput, product profitability, and team efficiency.
• Support capital strategy, investor communications, Board reporting, financing diligence, and financial due diligence for strategic M&A targets.
• Optimize software, cloud, AI, human capital, and other operating expenses to improve enterprise efficiency and net margins.
• Establish operational metrics, improve monthly close collaboration with Accounting, strengthen data governance, and standardize financial operating procedures.

Requirements

• Progressive FP&A experience at Director or Manager level in enterprise SaaS, AI, or B2B software.
• Experience with advanced financial planning, forecasting cycles, strategic GTM analysis, and quantitative financial modeling.
• Mastery of SaaS metrics including LTV, CAC, ARR, NRR, GRR, product margins, bookings, billings, and revenue recognition.
• Hands-on leadership of finance systems transformations, such as Planful, NetSuite, or data warehouse implementations, in a high-growth environment.
• Current residence in the Austin Metropolitan area and availability for in-office collaboration twice weekly.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship; hirify.global does not sponsor employment visas for this role.

Nice to have

• BBA in Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent; CPA, CFA, or MBA.
• Experience in CCaaS, SaaS, or AI enterprise software financial models.
• Experience deploying predictive AI workflows and automation in FP&A or finance operations.
• Experience redesigning finance processes during growth from mid-scale ARR to enterprise scale.
