What you will do

  • Develop and monitor financial crime risk models to support strategic planning.
  • Translate complex business problems into viable data science solutions.
  • Utilize Python and SQL to extract, prepare, and analyze large datasets.
  • Visualize and communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders at all technical levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers and software developers.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen or have a US Resident Green Card authorization (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (or 1+ years for graduate degree holders).
  • Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with tree-based algorithms and advanced data analytics.
  • Ability to work autonomously and provide guidance to stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) domain.
  • Experience with neural network architecture and transaction monitoring.
