What you will do
- Develop and monitor financial crime risk models to support strategic planning.
- Translate complex business problems into viable data science solutions.
- Utilize Python and SQL to extract, prepare, and analyze large datasets.
- Visualize and communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders at all technical levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers and software developers.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen or have a US Resident Green Card authorization (no visa sponsorship available).
- Undergraduate or advanced degree in math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (or 1+ years for graduate degree holders).
- Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with tree-based algorithms and advanced data analytics.
- Ability to work autonomously and provide guidance to stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) domain.
- Experience with neural network architecture and transaction monitoring.
