What you will do

• Independently draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including MSAs, vendor contracts, and HIPAA Business Associate Agreements.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day Legal Department contact for assigned contracting matters.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, and Compliance teams to facilitate timely contract execution.
• Provide practical recommendations regarding contractual terms, risk allocation, and negotiation strategies.
• Contribute to the continuous refinement of contract templates, standard clauses, and negotiation playbooks.
• Maintain contract lifecycle processes and ensure records are accurate and well-organized.

Requirements

• Must be US based
• Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Extensive experience negotiating contractual terms directly with customers, vendors, and business partners.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including redlining and document comparison.
• Experience working with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms.
• Strong understanding of contract law principles and commercial negotiation practices.

Nice to have

• Experience negotiating healthcare-related agreements (payer, provider, technology, data-sharing).
• Paralegal certification or contract management certification (e.g., NCMA).
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
