TL;DR

What you will do

  • Lead drafting, negotiation, and lifecycle management of complex commercial agreements, including sales, distribution, licensing, and collaboration contracts.
  • Develop and maintain standard contract templates, playbooks, and contracting policies to optimize efficiency and risk management.
  • Advise on federal healthcare laws, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and state data privacy and security laws.
  • Provide legal guidance on employment-related issues, internal investigations, and immigration compliance in coordination with HR.
  • Manage subsidiary governance, entity maintenance, and coordinate intellectual property matters.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Operations to implement company-wide compliance initiatives.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited institution and a valid license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
  • 5+ years of experience working with commercial contracts as an in-house corporate attorney or within a law firm.
  • Demonstrated experience handling a broad range of corporate legal matters and direct stakeholder management.
  • English: C1+ required (implied by US legal practice requirement).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with federal healthcare law, HIPAA, and FDA regulations.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, employment law, or intellectual property matters.
